Creativity is Life

Creativity is not just about being good at artistic activities or being good at music rather, it’s about every aspect of our lives, it’s about having the ability to express our deepest feelings in unique and exact words, it’s about, creating something that was never seen before, it is about touching the lives of people with the acts that you do and inspiring everyone. Creativity is about, filling the colors in the old ways of life and remaking them as new and as refreshing. Everyone is an artist on the inside. We just have to look it, and find the spark that beams inside us. This world is nothing without art and creativity.

The importance of creativity can be easily felt and seen in the difference between the expressions that people use in saying one thing. There is a famous story just to tell us the importance of using effective expressions. It is said there, once there lived a boy, who was blind and used to beg, one fine day, he sat on the steps of a building holding a sign in his hand and a somewhat empty hat by his feet. The sign said, “I am blind, please help!” But overall, most of the people ignored it, considering it another clichéd tactic that the beggars use, until a man came and dropped a few coins in his hat and then he held up the sign and wrote something else on the backside of the sign and gave it to the boy, who said nothing. The man left. And soon, the boy realized that more people were dropping coins and bills in the hat. The man returned and the boy recognized the footsteps. That boy stopped that man and asked eagerly that what was it that he had written on the sign that more people are giving him help in form of money. The man smiled and rubbed his head and finally spoke, “I have just written the same that you’d written, but in a different way.” The boy asked eagerly, “What?” The man said, “Today is a beautiful day, but I cannot see it…”

There, two expressions, saying the same thing but differently. Bothe the sign said that the boy was blind. But, the first sign was plain simple and said that the boy was blind. The second sign made people realize that they were so lucky to be able to see such a lovely day. Naturally, it made them feel the urge to help the boy. There’s nothing to be surprised that the second sign was really effective. Creativity is everything, it’s a lifestyle, and people just have to find the spark.
